BLOG TOUR~ A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole

synopsis
One kiss lasts a moment.
But a thousand kisses can last a lifetime.

One boy.
One girl.
A bond that is forged in an instant and cherished for a decade.
A bond that neither time nor distance can break.
A bond that will last forever.
Or so they believe.
When seventeen-year-old Rune Kristiansen returns from his native Norway to the sleepy town of Blossom Grove, Georgia, where he befriended Poppy Litchfield as a child, he has just one thing on his mind. Why did the girl who was one half of his soul, who promised to wait faithfully for his return, cut him off without a word of explanation?
Rune’s heart was broken two years ago when Poppy fell silent. When he discovers the truth, he finds that the greatest heartache is yet to come.

Standalone Young Adult Tearjerker Romance.
For ages 14 and up.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

" I'm poppy Litchfield and you're Rune Kristiansen. This is a handshake. My mamaw told me it's what you do when you don't know somebody. Now we're friends. Best Friends"

A Thousand Boy Kisses isn’t your typical love story. Let’s just say that where love shines there is no way darkness can dwell. This was an unexpected and incredible love story. I wasn’t sure what I was in for because Tillie Cole always takes me on a ride when it comes to her stories. This has to be the only book that I’ve ever read from beginning to end that had me in a complete mess. A Thousand Boy Kisses is now my #1 all time favorite tearjerker and Young Adult story.

A Thousand Boy Kisses is told from the point of views of Rune and Poppy (I love the uniqueness of their names by the way). Rune and Poppy had a connection instantly and their story is told over a span of years. That’s all I am going to give you on this book. I want you to dive in blind just like I did. I didn’t expect the story that I got.

This story was heart-rending, gripping, emotional, a snot and ugly cry tale. Trust me, heed my warning...... I wouldn’t read this book in public if I were you. Even in the confines of my bedroom I barely kept it together…barely. Walnut ice cream, a dark space, warm bed and my box of tissues was all I needed.

Overall, this story was so much more than the blurb. The feelings attached to it will leave you thinking about life and love. The characters are sweet, loving, inspiring, brave and most of all they leave an impression on you even after reading ”The End”.

"I love you Poppymin"

A must read if you enjoy a good cry and a love story that isn't of the norm, this is for you. Tillie Cole I love you and thank you for the opportunity in reading your story, this was phenomenal.
