I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

This will not be a long review because every time I read a book from Leigh Ann Lunsford I always find myself praising her. Before I read this book, I was in a book funk. I was about to take a break from reading and decided I should try this ARC. I was extremely happy and honestly I felt all the emotions stirring in my stomach and heart as I read Bellissmo Rilascio.

I cannot say that this book was what I excepted. What I thought I knew and how the story was leading I was so so wrong. Leigh Ann has it down on how to mess with her readers and makes you fall in love with her characters even though I was Team...........

This was truly a great way to end this trilogy. I felt completed at the end and enjoyed how each characters lives turned out. I fell in love with them all and honestly I may have shed a tear or two knowing that there is no more.

Overall,This book was about wrapping up Bianca and her messy situation. Bianca made the best choice for herself but struggled with so many feelings had. The story has a good pace and the story line will keep you interested. I love that Leigh Ann added a few twist and turns. Great book!!!

Leigh Ann Lunsford is stay at home mom turned author. She writes Romance/New Adult and loves her happily ever after in all books and movies. She lives with her husband, son, and four dogs in Fleming Island, Florida. When she isn’t writing or reading you can find her stuck in front of really bad reality shows or watching Sons of Anarchy. Leigh Ann has a filthy mouth and a huge amount of sarcasm that knows no end. She hopes to give the voices in her head an outlet with many more novels to come.

Excerpt:
Adjustment period. That is what I’m calling this time. I have nothing else to call it. I thought this would be simple. I thought I’d be able to breeze through this and keep it as I saw it in my mind. I expected us to be able to cohabitate as roommates would. It didn’t matter to me that we were expecting a baby together. All I cared about was keeping things civil. I didn’t want to argue. I had no strength to fight because, let me tell you, having Daniel White’s baby is no cakewalk. This child is kicking my ass in the energy department. I mean I have none, at all.
I didn’t understand before why women slept so much during pregnancy. I completely understand now. Hell, I applaud any of the ones that decided to have another. This shit right here. Oh my DAMN! I feel like I should change my name to exhausted, hateful bitch. I’ve heard those words mumbled quite a bit over the last few months.
Paul is still purposely annoying the hell out of Danny. I’ll admit that I am still enjoying every part of that. I guess it’s partly because of how demanding and alpha he was in the beginning. What am I talking about? How alpha he still is? What part of the male psyche tells them that once they’ve pumped their seed into a woman and life has begun to form that they have control over the woman’s body? Yes, I’m carrying the man’s child, but I am not some prizewinning horse or champion-breeding mare that “belongs” to him. I’ve voiced that opinion on several occasions, which resulted in one of the first times that I heard the mumbled “hateful bitch”.
I think he might just regret having picked up his life and moved it here to the good ole state of Ohio. I know he has to miss the warmth that was there in Sacramento. I’ve asked him a couple times if he misses it or thinks he’ll ever return. The question usually comes when he gets on my damn nerves being his general male self. I brought it up yesterday because all of his maleness was making my pregnant ass horny as hell.
“So, do you think you’ll be going to Sacramento soon to visit your family?” I asked as he finished fixing me a plate of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy (homemade) with corn, broccoli and homemade biscuits.
He looked at me and smirked, “Still trying to get rid of me, are you? You can let that go, beautiful. I’m here. I know there’s a lot about me that irritates the ever-living shit out of you. I chalk part of that up to the pregnancy hormones. A part of that goes to you being in a situation that you didn’t expect to be in. Then a tiny little portion is actually directed at me for my part in your being pregnant. Now that I know that I’ve gotten on your nerves today, should I be expecting a visit from your friend, Paul?”
There goes that idea.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The synopsis for An Author's Tale had me hooked.
What a clever idea, if someone else did a similar story I am very shocked that I haven't heard about it.
Anyways.....An Author's Tale started off well. It did not immediately suck me in but I enjoyed the beginning. I loved reading the feelings of Stephanie's first book signing as a signing author. Even though she was very awkward at times the emotions behind it was present and I enjoyed living that moment with her. At about 23% the book gets so much better. I found myself reading page after page.

Daniel and Stephanie's characters were well written. I enjoyed seeing them come together. I loved Daniel especially, he grew on me the more I read.

The conversation between the friends was something that I didn't care for. I thought their jokes weren't funny and even if the author was to take out the dialogues between them the story would have survived without it.

Overall, I liked it. Stephanie has a little waking up to do for a woman that is 35 years of age. Her reasoning behind a lot of stuff seem a little immature in my opinion.
I think the ending of the book was the most excitement and heart racing moment. My heart started to race immediately and honestly the author does a wonderful job in getting you interested in the next book.

Good concept and a good story that I liked.

“Thank you for coming with me. I don’t know if I would have been able to do what you did.” Matthew smirked, trying to lighten the mood. “At least, not with the same results.”
Cali blushed and Matthew almost lost it. He wanted to touch her, to crush her body against his and kiss her within an inch of her life.
Instead, he backed toward the elevators. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
She grinned and began walking to her car.
He hesitated, then shook his head and continued toward the elevator.
As he waited for the elevator to reach him, he heard an engine rev. A small smile pulled at his lips as he thought of Cali heading home.
The elevator dinged right as a squeal of tires caught his attention. He whirled around in time to see a dark blue sedan he didn’t recognize speed up the exit ramp.
His heart pounded in his chest as he took off at a full-out run.

Cali.

Sherri spent most of her childhood detesting English class. It was one of her least favorite subjects because she never seemed to fit into the standard mold. She wasn't good at spelling, or following grammar rules, and outlines made her head spin. For that reason, Sherri never imagined becoming an author.
At the age of thirty, all of that changed. After getting frustrated with the direction a television show was taking two of its characters, Sherri decided to try her hand at writing an alternate ending, and give the characters their happily ever after. By the time the story finished, it was one of the top ten read stories on the site, and her readers were encouraging her to write more.
Nearly eight years later, Sherri is the author of eight full-length novels, and two short stories. Writing has become a creative outlet that allows her to explore a wide range of emotions, while having fun taking her characters through all the twists and turns she can create. You can find a current list of all of Sherri’s books and sign up for her monthly newsletter at www.sherrihayesauthor.com
