Redemptive by Jay McLean is the second book in the
Combative Trilogy. Combative (book 1) is available to purchase no. I
would defiantly recommend starting this trilogy and what better time
than now as both book 1 and 2 are available to purchase.
Starting
this series was wasn't something I had to think about. Having read and
loved Jay McLean's other work I knew that this series was going to be
just as much of an adventure as the rest of her amazing work. She
managed to surprise me with this series as it is nothing like others
that she has written. I could talk all day about how talented Jay
McLean is as an author but I feel you all need to read her books to
really experience the magic.
After reading
Combative I fell in love with Ky but couldn't make up my mind about
Madison. She was just not giving me enough to really like her and so I
wanted to know more about her past but, also, I felt that there was a
lot more to Nate DeLuca than we knew. So my hope for this second book
was that we find out more about these two characters and how all of them
link together and BOY DO WE EVER.
Redemptive
is in Dual point of view of Nate and Bailey (aka Madison). It is a
complex story about two very broken people and how sometimes love can
break you. I will go as far as to say that I enjoyed this book more than
Combative but I am now torn as to where my loyalty will lie. I could
not put this book down as it delivered a roller coaster of emotion and
suspense. I knew that there was so much more to Nate than what we had
already seen and I loved seeing the other side of him.
I highly recommend this book series. You will not be disappointed by yet another fantastic book from Jay McLean.

This is the first book I've read from T.J. West and it was an enjoyable one. I love my Rock stars and Lucas fell right into that category for me. He was sweet and a kind guy, turned man whore but that’s OK I still loved him.
Forbidden Faith follows the story of Faith and Lucas of how they met and their fall. I love seeing the flashbacks of them meeting and how shy they both were. Something happens that drives them apart and now years later they are living different lives. Can you forget a love so strong? Both Faith and Lucas are trying their hardest to not think of each but man was it hard. Did Fate bring them back together again? Can they get over each other? You will have to read to find out :)
The characters were all great even when they were being complete A-holes lol. I love when an author incorporates music into their book. I love reading and feeling the lyrics in Forbidden Faith. The pace of the story was good as I read it in one sitting. Overall, a good read. I think the only thing I had to say was I wanted a little more punch to the story. It was kind of predictable but other than that I enjoyed it.

Undo Me is the third book in the Good Ol' Boys series by Author M. Robinson. In the beginning I was really worried that I wasn’t going to like this story. It started off a little slow for me. I was happy that I stuck in there because the author gave me what I was craving for. Heart wrenching, beautiful, heart stopping, WTF moments that made me scream out in public. I really wanted to put my foot in my mouth for doubting Author M. Robinson.
Undo Me started off with how Aubrey and Dylan Met. Bad boy meets innocent girl who wasn't afraid to back down from him. Aubrey had a lot going on in her life even as a teenager and Dylan even with his ways was always drawn to her. He wanted to protect her and to love her but why was that so hard? Undo Me follows the friendship, relationship and the raise and fall of these two individuals. Together they are perfect but apart what a disaster!!
Overall, the characters stories will have your head spinning. The giant curve balls hit me so hard I was rendered speechless. Like who comes up with these things? Author M. Robinson that's who. Great job on this one and looking forward to reading Austin's story especially after that cliffy.
He pulled back a little, resting his forehead on mine to
look into my eyes. To cripple me in ways I never thought possible. There was a
hunger in his glare that I couldn’t quite place, he wasn’t even touching me and
yet I still felt him all over. Both of us were panting, our breathing mirroring
one another’s, our hearts escalating higher and higher and beating beside each
other.
So intense.
So consuming.
So mind-blowing.
In that second, in that minute, in that hour… I wanted him.
I wanted his touch, I wanted his kiss, I wanted his taste, I
wanted all his movements, all his adoration and his love, all his devotion, his

and Dirty is written in the dual point of view of Lyric (what a
beautiful name) and Royal. Lyric is the Mayors daughter who is trying
to make her way in Politics and Royal is head of the Alpha Wolves MC in
the same town. Lyric and Royals lives become intertwined due to a deal
her father is trying to set up with the MC.
I
will straight away tell you why i only gave it 3.5 stars. I found this
book very hard to get into. I found Lyric to be extremely annoying and
a little weak especially when it came to Royal. The man does sound
like he is smoking hot but I felt there was way to much emphasis put
on this and it was a little embarrassing. Therefore it took me longer
than normal to get past that first part of the book but I am in no way
sorry that I did.
When
I reached about the 9th or 10th chapter it began to get very
interesting. Secrets were revealed and emotions were shown. I liked to
see both sides of Royal, his President side and the one he seemed to
reserve for Lyric. The sex scenes are HOT and the chemistry between the
two lead characters is completely off the charts you can almost feel the electricity.
