I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review
When I heard about this book I was excited to read it. I love
books were the Nerd and popular guy fall in love. When I was growing up, I was
a nerd and I am still am a nerd lol. Books like this hold a close place to my
heart.
Once I started reading #NERD I could not put it down. It is told in Rimmel’s and Romeo’s POV.

Romeo is the popular football star and ladies man. He needs
to be tutored in order to stay on the football team. I really liked Romeo’s character. His
character is so well built that I fell for him right away. You learn a lot about him during the story. I don’t
want to give too much away but you get to see him grow and his true character
comes out.
Rimmel is your every day typical Nerd. She is shy and keeps
to herself. She prefers animals over people. I could relate to Rimmel with how
shy she is and her nerdy qualities. Her character was also strongly built and
well developed. At the start of the book
she is forced to tutor Romeo. She isn’t very happy with this outcome but she
has no choice. She needs to tutor him to keep her scholarship. While reading the story you get to see her
character grow as she starts to become a little more comfortable with herself
and her relationship with Romeo.
Cambria Hebert nailed this book. I have read many books were
the Nerd falls in love with the popular guy and this one by far blows them out of
the water. Cambria’s writing style made
it easy and fun to follow along with the story. She has a way of sucking you in
her book, making it hard to put them down. I HIGHLY recommend this story to
everyone.
