***BLURB***
Sometimes you reach a point where you just can’t take any more — a breaking point, some call it.
The day I watched my husband murder the woman who was pregnant with his child, my point didn’t just break, it exploded like a full magazine’s worth of hollow points firing through the barrel of a fully-automatic AK-47.
Literally.
I am no longer his American Princess, nor am I his slave.
Now, I’m a murderer in hiding. My name was Bryleigh Carter Oliveira, and that was my story.
Translucent is one woman's story of breaking free, starting over, and learning to trust again through willful submission.

I received an arc in exchange for an
honest review.
Translucent by Erin Noelle was an
interesting read. This is the first book in the series and book #2 is not out yet ( I immediately checked after finishing this book).
Erin Noelle wrote the story from the
heroine's point of view and included past memories whenever Bryleigh
experienced one of her 'episodes'. Bryleigh Carter Oliveira told her
story about falling in love with someone who was evil and how she was trying to live again with the demons of her past.
Bryleigh was a little naive and
wanted to be love by someone that she ignored all the signs that her
then boyfriend showed.
I must warn you that Translucent was
graphic, heart wrenching at times however, the author give you the
heart wrenching details in doses which was good.
Overall, I liked the story and even
though it ends in a cliffhanger I will definitely read the second
book. Way to leave us hanging there lol.
The secondary characters were catty, loving, had interesting events surrounding their own lives. This story was told beautifully of a woman coming to terms with her life which might be short lived and how she chooses to live it currently. Both main characters are leaving to trust and love again and there is no way you won't like them.

Good read in my book.
