Wow Josephine Raven you have out done yourself this time. How much pain can one be put through before reaching their breaking point?? I know that we have met Matt previously but I honestly can not remember much about him.
Jo really tormented Matt, it kind of broke my heart. Terrified he will loose someone else in his life he pushes everyone away and that includes his two adorable kids. Matt is plagued by nightmares because he couldn't save his wife and believes he will loose his children as well. Octavia is not easily swayed though and boy does he really push her. She stays though, and quickly becomes part of his family no matter how horrible Matt is to her. She shows the kids how to have fun again and finally brings Matt to his senses.
It is an awesome read and I found it hard to put down. There was a moment or 5 where i felt... ok Jo i think he has gone through enough let him be... but Josephine Raven does tortured souls and we wouldn't have it any other way.
