| I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. OK…..Why does this author put me through so many heart-wrenching moments? Why do I keep coming back for more you may ask ? The only answer I have for you is that Author K. Webster is the definition of addictive. Her writing is Captivating. I swear every time I am in a book funk I can always count on her to pull me out of the darkness. This Isn’t You, Babyis no exception. This book was brilliantly written. This Isn’t You, Baby is the 4th book in the War & Peace series and tells the story of Brie. If you are thinking about starting this series you must read it from Book #1. I always find myself shouting WTH?!! when it comes this author's books. Seriously, this book made me so angry at times. I found myself disliking Esteban a whole lot and falling head over heels with two men (how is that even possible?). In the end, Author K. Webster left me feeling as broken as Brie felt. I keep thinking how is she going to put back the pieces of my broken heart? I am scared but I have faith that she has some twisted obstacles ahead in book #5 and I am waiting patiently :) I would recommend this book and the series to anyone that will listen. If you enjoy twisted, dark books that are well written, has a good pace with characters that pull you in, then read this book ASAP. I did but I wish I didn’t because I want to read it again. |
