Prophecy states that Cronus, the father of Zeus, Poseidon and Hades would rise and when he does he will claim Olympus and Earth. Starting with his sons, he will kill the Olympians and enslave the humans in the process.
The only hope for the Olympians to defeat him, would be for the gods to make a difficult choice:

Trust in themselves or trust in their human descendants.

I believe this book has great potential to be a 5 star but for me it just didn't reach the mark. I love books based around Greek Mythology so with some tweaking I think could get so much better. 

The book is written from the point of view of all 7 of the descendants that we meet and it can get very confusing at points. The author separates a change of POV by starting a new paragraph and this can get a little disorientating especially at the end of the book when there is alot going on. I feel the author should choose one or two of the characters and keep the book to their POV.

Also upon agreeing to this ARC I didn't know it was part of a series. Currently I don't like to start a series unless all books are available. This was a little disappointing.

I would recommend the book as it is a little different to others I have read.
